Fortunately I don't have a wife (I'm far too young for that at 22), let alone a partner that I need to compromise with. Ever since me and my last girlfriend broke up on Christmas day last year I've been put off the idea of relationships for the time being. It would have to take someone pretty special for me to think again!

Well done Kev. She looks well. =D> When do you take delivery?

If you get stuck for anything give me a shout. I've picked up a fair amount of spares for my stores. Plus some 'modern' reference numbers for belts, etc.

Thats something else, this one has been off the road since '94 and still has its original 1981 logbook!...
I'll raise you that with '91 and the original bill of sale! :P

The only thing missing from this is the original bill of sale!

I don't think it's going to be ready for any rallys this year. DVLA reckon 4 weeks for a new V5C. If out of pure luck it's mot'd and I have the v5c in my hands by the remaining rallies this year it will be going :D

It's being dropped off here on Friday :D

What style of V5 do you have? If its an 80s or 90s one, it may be worth going direct to your local DVLA office (Exeter). Fill out a V62 and hand over your old V5, they'll check everything out and start the process off there. From my experience, you generally get the logbook come through quicker and use can then keep the old style V5 as a memento without any trouble.

No costly postage stamps involved either, just the £20 in diesel to get you there!

We expect plenty of photos on Friday! :-D

Thanks Dom, V62 has already been sent off along with a SORN declaration. I'll know for next time though!

I've stuck a post down in the GS/A section about the recommissioning, could you have a look at that when you get five minutes?

Being totally serious here, getting it there is entirely possible! 2 Weeks? Plenty of time...

In fact, I know that a certain Rouge Soleil CX Owner had their CX MOTd on the Thursday before the Rally a few years ago and it was it's first proper journey...

Easy!!!
