I can still remember seeing a Spanish reg'ed 406 with a DW8 in it once, never seen one before and never since. Yes it was a DW8.
Since then I researched and they never appeared to fit that unit into it, so it was an owner job. It only came in for some minor work...

Apologies, it wasn't a Xantia it was a ZX - but the outcome was the same.

So has this Activa V6 only done 26,000 km?

Perhaps once finished they were too embarrassed to drive it, which would explain its possible low mileage?
WHeels are awful and the exterior trim, but its reversable. Not sure what has happened to the interior, are they seat covers? They dont look the shape of Xantia seats.

I drive a non turbo Xantia. Mine is also an LX and is white but is a really early one. I'm quite happy with the performance. If it really is 13,000 miles and is in good condition (it looks tidy in the photos) then this is the one I should buy not the £2,000 HDI

If it was me I'd choose this one over an HDi. I couldn't live with my HDi at all- not because of the engine, which was great, but because of the "improvements" in the facelift.mirafioriman wrote:If it really is 13,000 miles and is in good condition (it looks tidy in the photos) then this is the one I should buy not the £2,000 HDI

Re: as this really got 13623 miles on it
I had a 'K' reg Peugeot 405 saloon with the same engine. 1.9 D with 71 BHP.
It actually went quite well.
We took it on holiday all the way to the Costa Brava and back and it was great.
I always got 44 mpg from it.
I also, many years ago, had a ZX 1.9 D as a hire car for 2 weeks on holiday in Spain and that went really well
