Quite Likely. They're not fast. The have a calendar on the dash in place of a speedo and the odometer relies on radiocarbon dating.

Some say it takes several weeks to complete even a quite modest journey in one....

I'd wager that it's a typo and it's 113,623 etc - if it was 13K he'd be shouting about it in the advert!!

We'll soon find out, I've sent him an email!

I've been a passenger in a white P reg SD that used to park up in the works car park. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting actually, though I can confirm the radiocarbon dating odometer. That's why they didn't sell very well I hear as they were so expensive because of the carbon dating gear. I imagine it would go a lot better without it too as just that weighs a good 200kgs.

I would bet its a typo, though I can imagine once owned you would not be jumping for joy at the thought of a drive in one!

An automatic 1.9D  No doubt very good fun :| Still, excellent if you have 9 points on your licence

That's a point, would there have been any need for brakes?

This is terrible really, they're alright cars and do the job!

Probably only fitted for MOT purposes

No, your quite right ... Drive a 1.7D C15 with 60bhp which has been extended, has another axle and has an empty weight of that of a standard C15 van fully laiden ... fully loaded ... and you know what a slow diesel is

Still, it has been known to do 100mph!

Looks like the seller agrees with all the above, look at his name :D

I had a 7 seat Renault Savanna with the same non-turbo 1.9 diesel that the Clio got- 65BHP as I recall. It actually went tolerably well. The French have a long tradition of making cars go better than they should.
