Probably a UL but innerestin.
Great piece of BS as even the dates don't really stack up  Sounds just like the wrongly-remembered amalgam of several half-heard stories.

Most likely it was something to do with the similarity between the 1968 Pininfarina / BLMC 1100 and the GS.

The 1967 Pininfarina BMC-1800 Berlina-Aerodinamica is (the original bigger brother of the above) an interesting pre-CX thing. Other cars of the time of passing interest is the Maxi-based Aquila.

On a later note, the Triumph SD2 / Reliant FW11 / Volvo Tundra / Citroen BX

It looks more to me that it's been pumped to the correct height.

Far too many Hydrosag cars going around low because all the nitrogen has gone on holiday in the top halves of the displacers. Most likely these are front ones and then the car has a nose down arse up stance. If any attempt to pump them up to the correct trim height (front hub to arch measurement) is made, then the suspension will either end up rock hard or burst.

I see now that it does have an export marker on the DVLA file.
