v6 variable inlet manifold testing
Is there a wire or something that can be tested to find out if the flaps for this are working?
Love my black v6 xant - only one with cream coloured leather too!

No, basically on the ES9J4 as fitted to the Xantia V6 it's a totally passive system relying purely on airflow to work.
The inside of the manifold is a bit of a work of art...

Ok, so I have googled and googled I can't find it I need to see this thing working it sounds very cool

You have probably read this article on the V6 engine, which contains the only details I have seen about the manifold:

That link needs modifying to remove the thingamabob above the e in Citroen as it won't work otherwise. URLs are not permitted to have accented characters in them.
Unfortunately we have a word censor on here that automatically spells any variation of Citroen correctly and uses the accented e... It even does this for web links...
