Xantia sidelights

Hi, can ayone tell me what spec the sidelight bulbs should be in my Xantia [ s1] I"ve got one really bright bulb and one really dim. cheers Terry.

They should both be bright :wink:

They are normally 5 watt.

If you remove the dim bulb it'll more than likely be blackened.

5 watt, capless (ie. it just pushes into the holder). You have to twist the holder a bit to remove it from the headlamp unit - dexterous fingers useful here!

As DickieG says, maybe a blackened bulb, in which case soon to give up the ghost. Could also be a bit of corrosion in the multi-plug/socket at the back of the headlamp. I'd go for simply replacing the bulb.
