I thought there was lots of problems with the 1.3 Fiat diesel, or have they been ironed out now? I have heard many Vauxhall Corsas and Combo vans having issues. One garage I was in had two quite ill 1.3 diesel Vauxhalls.
Also when the 500 came out the 1.3 diesels were recalled for headgasket faults.
I also dislike the 1.9 FIat diesel (as also used in Vauxhalls) which fills the sub with diesel, if its not checked it runs on the excess oil level and drowns.

Not had any issues with the 1.3 multijet , the 1.9 multijet in the doblo was fantastic , it had done 150k with fsh and ran without fault , very willing from lowdown . I ran the Doblo alongside my C5 2.2 Hdi for a while and as much as I loved the C5 and it's comfort there was just something about the Doblo that made it such fun to drive . This is someone who used to hate Fiats in the past but since having the Doblo and now the 500 am a convert ,
