Hydraflush / sphere changing. Freeing up rear suspension.

Unread post by rmunns »

Year 2000 Xantia Hdi90 saloon.

Last weekend I drained the LHM, cleaned tank and filters and re-filled with Total hydraflush. No problems, it went well.

I now want to replace all three rear spheres (car is not hydractive / activa).

Are there any drawbacks to doing this while hydraflush is in?

If it's OK to do this are there any special precautions I should take?

Regarding the rear suspension; I want to be sure I have freed up the dog bone and the coupling rod that comes from it. But I'm not totally sure how best to do this withoput stripping anything down.

there should be no problems fitting new sphere's with hydraflush in the system,

and the only way to free off the H/C linkage/turrets is remove them from the car,

as they realy need to be floppy loose,
