which oil
Which oil does everyone think is best for the c5 hdi 110, i believe that citroen recommend total quartz 9000 5w-40 which i think is part synthetic, alternatively asda do an own brand 10w-40 fully synthetic, and halfords do an 10w-40 part synthetic, all for around the same price, if anyone else has any suggestions for around £20 for 5L i would be glad to hear them, any input welcomed, cheers sam.

I use and highly recommend Morris servol 10w40. Available from your local motor factor for about £50-60 for a TWENTY FIVE Ltr drum, thats £5 per 5 ltr !!!
Been using it my Xantia's all the time I've owned them and it's done a faultless job.

Total 9000 is fully synthetic, for a very good reliable supplier try Chandlers Oil

£50/25 = £2 litre or £10 per 5 litre.... still good value though.HDI wrote:I use and highly recommend Morris servol 10w40. Available from your local motor factor for about £50-60 for a TWENTY FIVE Ltr drum, thats £5 per 5 ltr !!!

Oooop's
Thats what a glass of red does to me these days !!
Anyway, it is very good value and don't think because the price is low that it's in anyway cheap and nasty ! The quality is excellent and I rate it against anything.
