What kind of repairs have you had to do in that mileage? Major ones ... Gearbox, Clutch, Head Gasket, Injectors etc?
Due to circumstances beyond my control (and not the car's fault), the clutch was replaced at approx 45k - which means the current one has over 180,000 on it.
I always change the gearbox oil every year due to my experiecnes of water ingress.
Excluding the normal wear and tear items - spheres, suspension bushes, roll bar drop links, crank pulley (twice), glow plugs, handbrake cables and brake flexis (MOT failure last year), engine mount bush - the only "surprises" have been
Air mass meter
blocked vacuum pump (Seriosly benefitting from the knowledgebase at my favourite Citroen specialist!)
broken +ve battery terminal
Various electrical gremlins, the main one is all the exterior lighting has been running off a wire running directly from the battery, through the door jam and onto the stalk for the past 6 years.
Rear height corrector (twice)
The engine is as good as gold, I service it myself every 12500. The only issue I had was cold starting for some time, which was a glowplug that had gone short and was tripping the relay out.
I re-gassed the AC once two years ago and it had lost only 20% since it left the factory. It still works fine, only the blower's trannies popped yesterday!
I love my Xantia. It's been my faithful servant and the only time it has broken down has been the result of my own stupidity (crank pulley rattling which I ignored for too long, then tried to drive to 500 miles over a weekend)
I hope all my future cars are as "unreliable" as my Xantia.
