I got back home about 10 minutes past midnight, I've driven around 750 miles in total this weekend, got to be some sort of personal record
It was very much worth every mile having seen some relatives that I haven't seen for years, along with a flying visit to see some friends at uni, before convoying down to Duxford for the fantastic air show on the Sunday. Parking up outside that old school Citroen Service Station was just the icing on the cake. They'll have a pleasant surprise when the review the CCTV footage on Monday morning!

That was a good effort Kev :D RUNN is doing you very proud these days!

Duxford was excellent and I can honestly say I enjoyed every single minute 8-) It was so nice to switch off for a day, spend time with friends and forget about all the normal things in life that keep me busy...

Great photos Phil 8-) I do love the sound of a nice air-cooled radial engine. It really is intoxicating :P

I need to go again and again...

On the way home, to avoid the traffic, Mike took me back to Royston via the scenic route and very scenic it was too, spoilt only by having the sun in my eyes a lot of the time. My old V6 windscreen is bad in the sun as it is covered in micro-chips, almost like it's been sandblasted. Anyone got a brick?

Looks like a good day was had.

Jim, I managed to claim a new screen on my insurance a few years ago due to it being covered in micro-chips. They agreed that it was dangerous in the sun and it was probably in there best interests to replace it than having to pay out later for a potential accident.

Ooo good thinking! I might have to try that tact :)
Looks like you all had a great day, would have loved to have been there.

The weather could not have been better! The only thing lacking was enough time to look round everything on show!

Ouch my feet, great day out though, agree with Dave, we needed more time.

Know what you mean Jim about the screen, my Xantia's the same, its a genuine one though so Im hesitant about getting it changed for a non gen type.

Very nice pictures, the weather looks great.

It does look like i missed a very good day out again, and compared to Kevs lengthy trip it now doesn't appear too far away.

Anyway, two C5s needed a medic so i was tinkering with those getting them working right again.

I guess this was the last meet of the year, unless some are planning on going to the NEC classic car show next month? Im going to be there all weekend.
