My satnav managed to avoid MK and the roundabouts - I did wonder where it was taking me for a while then recognised a few landmarks from last time.

Didn't take as many photo's as I had thought. Most are rubbish too, at least not all bright blue as as Wetherby.

That's my rally course you're talking about there

Jim did lead myself and Paul back through MK towards Newport Pagnell along the single carriageway roads rather than the more fun dual carriageway grid roads though.

The word "fun" and Milton Keynes grid roads are mutually exclusive as far as I'm concerned.

My route involving the V3 and H7 was specifically to avoid the more agressive H8 route which I guess you would describe as the more fun route and me as the hassle route

I've spent a long time working out hassle-free routes to various places in Milton Kynes, largely avoiding all the "fun" bits

Not much fun to be had driving the grid through MK.

The satnav did drag me through on the way down and even dumped me in the hospital car park, took a while to extricate myself from that mess.

Which was why I was surprised to miss it all on the return - Mr TomTom must have learned the hard way

A5 then H3 would have been my choice, V8 is very aggressive with the taxis around the xscape centre though.

You must let me drive you through MK in Cassy Jim, Kev seemed ok with a sample of it, once the colour returned to his cheeks

How well a non-hydractive estate can handle and take roundabouts will shock you

I was quite shocked at the amount of grip available! I've never been at that sort of degree sideways in a Xantia.
I threw mine around on the way back, not as far as Xac would push it but after the first two I got scared

So Xac, is Juliet on the road?

She is on the road, a bit noisier than she should be with the exhaust gasket blown, but if needs must, she can come out to play

Do the important bits work, like the active suspension and seatbelts and, can she come out to play anytime from early Friday evening to Sunday?
