It's always nice to hear great comments about the rally and it means that all of our hard work (the committee) really has paid off. :yeah:

At Little Horwood for a couple of hours this afternoon, white CX Safari.

Think I may have converted my Mate Martin to Citroen ownership :D

Going to view Xantia wicked Red 3.0 v6 that Roger Bradford has for sale. Hope he buys it 8-) if not I will :x

I think the gorgeous Activa in Wicked Red there made him think Citroen, NOT BMW.

Nice meeting although a little quiet.

I really enjoyed the event yesterday, Excellent weather, very nice cars and as usual its the people who make the event. It was very nice to meet new members and put names to faces. Ill have to try harder and get to even more events.

Couldn't agree more about the turn out and cars, good to see so many well kept motors, Jim it was good to finally meet you. I bowled up late on Saturday, where Rob immediately came and introduced himself, and once the tent was pitched, introduced me to some other by way of drink and pickled eggs (not for me)  though I did get one out of the jar in record time :D

Cracking breakfast, and a big thanks to paul for shoving his lexia clone on the C6, it made a hell of a difference to the consumption on the way back home (pics in blog later) also spotted an XM in silver towing a trailer tent on the M1 and a C6 in Stafford Services.

Thanks again

Paul,

What on earth did you do to that C6?

Steve, what speed did you travel home at? Most I've seen off mine was 40.7 on a long run with the cruise control on at 70.

Nope :lolsign: apart from the roadworks and the traffic by Fort Dunlop (nothing new there   ) a nice steady 65/70 all the way back.

David the whole journey averaged 42.7 so very impressed, I was driving around the 80 mark for most of the way.

The multitude of Milton Keynes roundabouts killed the figures/speed.
