Xantia IR Fob Blade replacement

Folks,

Just ordered replacement IR, 2 button fob from ebay for my '95 Xantia.

Scoured web....seems that car actually learns fob code if ignition on/main fob button depressed with fob close to receiver dome near rear-view mirror....will give it a go.

Question is...to replace the blade with mine, do I prise the blade rivets apart, or drill out using my drill press?

Prise them apart.

If your old casing is good, then just swap the new PCB into it.
