What size is the injector removal socket for my diesel Xantia?

And S2 - well, actually, Late S1 from 1997 with knock sensor!!

You'll need a cut out hardened socket for that one!!!

Hi all,

On Tuesday evening I noticed a new problem develope which I think is the injectors.

I ran the car on Tuesday morning taking my laddie to college about 2 hour drive around auld reekie with no problems including the bypass.

On Tuesday evening as I accelerated there was a sudden jerking at approx 2800rpm. I stopped the car in emergency layby and checked the pump okay but same problem violent shaking at 2800 RPM.

It is my intention to check the injectors soon as I believe this will cure my running issues at idle.

Could this also be part of the problem
