Does anyone know the make of turbo on the Xantia 2.0CT?

I think it might be a Garrett, but which specific one is it?

Also where can you get the C-clips for the actuator rod?

Hi

on the XM which has the same engine its a Garrett TB25,
The circlips should be able to be sourced at any harware shop.

Yes I thought a C-clip from a check strap, or similar could be used, but as everything is made to a price, and you get what you pay for.

It left me wondering if the C-clip would drop off if, one tried a C-clip from a door check strap, as they don't need to endure much heat in the door area.

While the C-clip on the turbo has to endure a lot of heat, and I wouldn't want to have the C-clip drop off while driving.

Surely the real deal would be available from citroen for just a couple of quid, you have peice of mind then that you have the intended part for the job....

The clip on the waste gate actuator isn't a 'C' clip it's actually an 'E' clip.

I had to change mine a while ago and bought a box full off ebay.
