I have booked for 6 at the King William IV. A single course Sunday Roast is £11.50. The booking is for 12:30, but if aim to get there about 12 we can kick the tyres, and get the first orders into the kitchen.

Here is a general location map Heydon is just below the centre of the map, and the IWM is the pink area to the north east.

a detail map showing the location of the pub.

Anyone else want to join us?

Oops I made a mistake  , I thought their summer hours started this weekend... Time for a replan

I think we need at least 3 hours at Duxford, so I think the only way to achieve that is to scrub the pub lunch, and meet directly at the museum.

They do have a cafeteria there, but I can't vouch for the quality.

Sounds good to me Mike :D

Noted on the calendar. The thing on the wall covered in dates, not the cooking utensil that leaks a bit...

Yep, no worries. I can get on and do my ECU now with no fear I'll miss it! If the museum is open til 18:00 it'll be less of a rush too and will improve on the enjoyment.

Date noted!
Toby

Be good to see you and your immaculate XM Phil!

Good job we did postpone from this weekend. I'm still not at all well (although a little better today) and would not have anywhere near well enough to attend :(

By current recovery progress, I should be just about there by March

OK, Time for a reminder of this great day out at Duxford. All welcome!

Duxford will be on summer opening hours, so we have a bit more flexibility of timing.

I don't mind booking a table at a nearby pub for lunch, or we could eat at the "restaurant" inside the museum.

Any preferences?
