I agree, loads out there could have been converted over for little money to V6 or 2.1td engines as there are enough out there going cheap.

I'd love to see the 2.1td Bosch unit fitted in there with a slightly uprated hyrbid turbo so that the fuelling could really be used...
Run that thing on good old veg and you'd have a super cheap to run car that could maintain a lot of corner speed as no doubt the extra wieght of the 2.1td up front would help front wheels dig in a bit more :D

reminds me of the smokey one i saw in europe on youtube ages ago and how i thought that it would just end up being broken :(

More s2's than s1's? OK, so it shows that there's only 1 car in it with
4 s1 and 5 s2 at the moment! Am I the one skewing the overall numbers
of s1 v's s2 on this list then!?

The list so far!

x1 KP Will's s1
x1 Superloopy s1
x1 Citrojim Jim's red s1
x1 Jennie Dad's s1
x1 Kevmayer Kev's s1
x1 Wainy's s1
x7 andmcit s1
x1 Ramocc in Dublin's s1

x2 Jennie s2 (Dad & Jennie x1 each!)
x1 Xac's Juliet s2
x1 andmcit s2
x1 XantiaMan583 Gareth's s2
x1 Quacker's s2
x1 Sl4yer James' s2
x1 DHallworth David's s2

x1 ACTIVE8 s?
x1 anybloodybody s?

and overseas v6's

x1 ActivaV6 s2
x1 PetteriP s2
x1 Koukku s2

Are the voters wanting an Activa just thinking about it or seriously
contemplating 'saving' the next £200 Buy it now Delage red one on
ebay from the Activa Despathers then!?

Hi,

I have had a dark red S2 CT Activa for a month now. It is one of three known to be in South East Queensland. It has done 262k km so it has travelled some roads. I am catching up on all the 10 years type maintenance issues and struggling to keep in on the road at the moment.

One issue I havn't really solved yet is the diagonal jerk it does when stationary every 15 seconds or so.

Cheers,

Ken W :)

Welcome Ken. The diagonal jerk when stationary sounds like the car correcting
itself on the roll sensor rods attached to the front lower wishbones - it causes
what many here call the "Activa dance"! I recall comments made here where
it's described as the car feeling alive and impatient like a horse waiting to bolt
at the starting gate on an athlete limbering up before action! It's mildly
irritating but not a significant problem and won't affect the car whilst being
driven.

If you search this Activa area you'll see descriptions and even download links
of instructions from Citroen for the renewal of the rod bushes. I'll check for a
link for you later as I can't stop on the forum here for long.

Ken. If you look at the link below, the first picture shows you the bushes and roll corrector linkages Andy mentioned. The bushes wear an become sticky and the slop/stickyness created confuses the roll correction system so it 'shuffles' about. As that link says try greasing the bushes but consider replacing them, they're only a few £ over here

I know to my frustration that cars never appear when it's convenient and
usually do when it's not - you have to go for the chance and repent later
or remain frustrated. I'm not ruling out a trim down in my cars but the
Activae will be among the last one's standing! Certainly, the Activa area
here would be the first to know if any come up for sale (either mine or any
others spotted).

Anyhow, time for an updated listing. I'd actually fancy including colour too
to see which one's are more popular if you guys want to update/correct me:

The list so far!

1: KP - green
2: andmcit - green
3: Superloopy

You've missed Aussie "Ken W" in Queensland, with his recently acquired dark red S2 car.

Duly updated Sir - what engine is it? Surely not another v6
- you boys abroad seem to get every one!

Dark red is an Activa colour I've not seen before - just Delage red.

That's probably what he means, as opposed to a lairy red. As with all Oz-delivered Activas, it's a CT motor.
