How much to buy and fit a new steering rack

Unread post by KP »

On ebay near Gretna 160344310465

Could it just be some hydraulic pipe that has come loose or split?

With mileage like that it should definately be on someones saving list(cough cough Jim looking for new project now, cough cough ;-) )

I would have it for myself if it weren't 3 hours away as i need a lot of spares for my activa or would possibly fix it up and sell it on :)

More than likely the pinion valve.

Mr. Pleiades will recondition one of those.

Or else the ram and they're readily available.

I'm sure it would if you filled it with green blood first. Looks to be sitting comfortably enough.

Seller says its also a constant drip, not a stream or the like so would easy make it up onto a transporter or loader i would imagine if not drive short distances between checking the fluid if you had to chance it.
