Due to a time constraint at the moment and not finding a half decent indy nearby me that will do this little job i've booked her into citroen again
Best not mention the price to the mrs even though i have got another sizable discount off them their labour is £80p/hr!!!
The part from citroen came to only £21 so for a few more quid than GSF i decided to go original. Also they mentioned that the early P bush's failed a lot sa they flexed too much but the later design is a lot more robust as some early ones were replaced under warranty but a fair few weren't

Hi,
The Xsara we have has a few knocks & bangs coming from the front so I was planning on replacing the drop links, the anti roll bar bushes, & the wishbone bushes, this way I would know that everything was new.
Any advice on what is the best way to remove & replace the bushes on the wishbone, is there a "Trick" to doing them.
Can the front ones be pressed in with a vice or by using threaded bar with sockets.
A new wishbone is more than double the price of the bushes on their own but is the mess on fitting the replacement bushes worth the saving.
Cheers.
