Front Wishbone
Is the drivers side front wishbone the same for any other model or is it activa specific?? Mine has decided that one of the rubber bush's is a rare delight and is gobbling it up and seems to be causing some vibration at speeds...

Hi Will,
No they're different and specific to the Activa. They are often seen on eBay.
The bushes are individually replacable so no need to write-off the whole wishbone.
Is it the "P" bush or the more conventional bush that is being eaten? The former is easy (ish) to replace but the latter really needs a press.

Ahh, that'll be the "P" bush Will..
Arm yourself with a large club hammer and a cold chisel and you'll be fine. Be a tad careful getting the old one off as you don't want to nick the spigot with the cold chisel as there is a chance this could act as a stress riser in the future. For the same reason, be exceedingly careful if you take an hacksaw or angle grinder to it.
Use a socket to drift the new one home but do be careful as the alignment of it is critical. Ensure the new one goes back on in exactly the same position as the old one came off.
OE ones have alignment dots but aftermarket ones often don't.

Yes it needs to come off although in all honesty, its quite a simple job, hardest part is wiggling the wishbone out! They aint that expensive, and the aftermarket bushes are ok as long as you mark out the exact position of the old bush.KP wrote:Does the wishbone need to come off to do this??
I now have a perfect camera for jobs like this but i'll need to find somewhere to host them as well
Also how much am i looking for the P bush from citroen as i guess they are the only ones that will suppply it??

Photobucket and ImageShack ar both pretty good and the free accounts are more than adequate. Both have resizing and thumbnail tools.KP wrote: I now have a perfect camera for jobs like this but i'll need to find somewhere to host them as well![]()

I used to have a service from an old ISP of about 2 gig of online storage and i could put what i wanted up there and link to it easily but thats no longer available
will have to try one of those other places as so many photo's we have and want to store them safely somewhere in the cloud incase the worst ever happens!

Google also have a photo hosting site.
I have previously been unable to use it but can now. Will likely use it as I tend to use a lot of Google's services.
