c5 total loss of power
have had months of trouble free driving, touch wood.last week the clutch went.got it done to the tune of 900euro.
the morning after i got the car done,i went to take off and the car was as dead as could be.it cured itself after a few minutes.parked the car for a few hours and the same thing happened.it seems to happen if the car is parked for any period of time.its a c5 hdi 110.any ideas?

It wouldn't be as simple as the battery earth? Friend of mine had gearbox replaced on an old Peugot 405, and then had starting problems . Turned out they'd not done proper job of ensuring a good earth when refixing earth cable back on to the body.
