To think, they are responisble for our safety (well, after emptying our pockets that is)

May cease to be an issue soon, when we all fill up with hydrogen instead.
They had a :
Honda Clarity on Top Gear last week and it looked pretty damned good to me, if they can switch the infrastructure without too much bickering and graft.

There was something on the radio the other day about lease companies warning their drivers not to use morrisons' bio diesel as it's something like 30% and would invalidate their warranties for any damage caused by it.vince wrote:the prices are the same round here. I asked at Morrisons the other day why the price of Bio Diesel is exactly the same as normal diesel and why should anyone buy it?
The guy agreed that it was daft and confirmed that they hadnt really sold any.

I assume you mean in the concept of it using a hydrogen fuel cell Steve 'cos it surely does not look good in any other way, in fact it's revoltingly ugly I don't recall it looking quite that vile on TG but maybe it's just not very photogenic...myglaren wrote:it looked pretty damned good to me
Why do these so-called "green" cars have to look so awful? Take the Toyota Pious (deliberate mis-spelling) for instance. Is it done specially to appeal to the sandal-wearing, bearded tree-hugging environmentalists to whom this grotesque "styling" preseumably finds favour?
If you don't mind, I'll stick to my 50+ MPG 2.1TD. That's green enough for me thanks
EDIT: It looks like a squashed Dalek to me...

I did mean the concept of hydrogen/fuel cell/ electric motor but I don't find the design of the Clarity that repellent - in fact I like it better looking than my C5 and certainly no worse than the majority currently on the market.
A C6 Hydrogen with an electrically powered hydraulic system would seem to me to be a decent compromise.
