Hi Jim,
I spoke to an auto electrician today and he says its a common problem?
He says that he can solve it (He did my mates HDI) by placing a relay under the dash and it alleviates the problem. Something to do with the current draw?
He says £50 to do it but I wouldn't recoup that cost if I sell the car.
We've had it three years and I have to say it's been brilliant. But seeing as I currently have
1 x 4.6 Range Rover LPG'd
1 x 2.8 td Pajero
1 x 406 HDI SE Estate (Up for sale also)
2 x Clio's (For my sons)
1 x Galaxy TDI Ghia
1x Chevrolet 5.7 ltr Dayvan
1 x Quadbike
and 2 German shepherd dogs!
So, as you can see why I'm trying to cut down. Plus no work for 3 months things are getting tight. The Peugeots I think will be the easiest to sell and bring some much needed funds in.
Maybe it'll be a case of tell the potential buyer and live with it
