That's a pity because it's a shame if that has happened, because Andys efforts on the car, the information he provided on the work, and the progress that happened made for interesting reading to say the least.
I am sure many others also followed his progress with avid interest.

It was not the neatest Xantia i have had. The black rubber round the windows was rotting and going green, the auto gearbox selector trim was all loose. The interior was filthy to say the least, had no stereo, to name but a few cosmetic problems, and thats when i bought it.ACTIVE8 wrote:That's a pity because it's a shame if that has happened, because Andys efforts on the car, the information he provided on the work, and the progress that happened made for interesting reading to say the least.

After plowing so much money into getting just the engine partly right, you have to call it a day, it was just not looked after at all by Andy.

When looking around for an Activa I saw one which was pictured outside in a certain location, and when Andy wrote a lot and provided a lot of info about Activas, (or is this Activae) and this his project car I realised that the ebay information and pictures he had saved, regarding the sale of the car to him from the previous owner, revealed it was one I had looked at on ebay, as one to consider and maybe go, and view.
So it seems for this car, as you say its time was up.
