door pins
my m.o.t on my xantia is now due and one of the problems apart from a faulty abs sensor is the drivers door, the hinge has come away at the weld on the door and also the door handle is bust so i've got a Replacement door, i've tried to remove the door pins but they seem very tight i was wondering if anyone has any tips for removing them

no they dont, the pins on a xantia are square & sit in a square rececss.you put it in the unlocked position & if you look at the base of the pin there is a small slot.use a small electrical screwdriver in the slot & push the small tab in there downwards, the pin will then lift off.jgra1 wrote:Hi Dave, they unscrew, normal threads..
