Xantia Clutch cable

I have read about the many problems you chaps have had fitting the clutch cable to the pedal.I was wondering if any xantia owners have taken the instrument console out to see if it's possible to gain access to the dreaded clip.

no need but its an awfull job but i can do it in about an hour and a bit now ...its still not nice though

i've found the best way to replace the clip is to remove the drivers seat, lay down so your head & face is looking up at the top of the pedal & do it that way, if you read up about 'removing the instrument panel[}:)][}:)]' it's a lot harder than you think.

Thanks for the reply Marco one of the reasons I asked is that I have a couple of bulbs out.

once the instrument cluster is removed is removed there is a hole behind it where you can get at the clip,its not the easiest way though.
