Peugeot 406 Stop Solenoid

Post by goffers »

My 1996 Peugeot 406 LX TD won't start, there's no fuel flow to the diesel injectors. I suspect the fuel stop solenoid is sticky/failed. There's a black square box on the nearside end of the injector pump marked "Bosch", I believe that's the solenoid, but can't see how to get it off to replace it - any help greatfully received

Thanks for the response - the keypad is behaving absolutely normally, starts red, key in code and goes to green, engine cranks but doesn't start.
