Is this a stupidly cheap Exclusive?

The top one is what its worth, the bottom is the high end of what it would be worth if it was a diesel.

The turbo petrol is a bit unloved because its a bit thirsty and not really that fast. There isn't a massive market for thirsty Citroen Xantia estates.

Apart from the bit about it not being all that fast. :x

It's the same engine as the Activa but a lighter car. 0-60 time isn't so impressive but it's the way it goes in any gear at any speed which is.

I would have another one if it wasn't for tax, insurance, maintenance, space.... :cry:

Petrol ones are worth what you can get for them, only really good diesels are worth any ammount of money.

It has a nice flat torque curve, but no surge. How can you have a turbo car without surge? :)

And to me that is the beauty of it.

Fuel consumption of a 2.0i with the go of a bigger engine.

Its a perfect car for stealth overtaking. :D Especially with a big roofbox on, nobody expects you going past so you don't get any of the usual idiocy of trying to squeeze you off the road. :D

If the guy who's selling the petrol one is a dealer in Kidderminster, I wouldn't touch it. He once offered me as a part ex £950 on an 'S' reg Xsara VTR with full service history blah, blah, blah one owner from new and only 36K on the clock, against an 'S' reg granada 2.0. This was back in 2002.

Got the impression that his 'servicing' of his stock was a little dicky. (my oppinion only).
The wifes got a C4 I've got a ZX TD SX!!!!
