Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Since updating the software on my RT4/5 I have this most annoying message pop-up every time I start the car. It reads, Emergency Numbers Deactivated. I have to go into the menu, then press 'Esc' to get rid of it. I can't see any way to stop it appearing using pp2000, (though I may have missed it). Help me out, somebody. It's driving me nuts....

RT4 activating AUX

I have a C5 with the RT4 head unit (and those 3 phono sockets in the glove box) but the unit menu does not show the AUX option on the screen. I am running Firmware 8.31
Presumably if Citroen fitted the sockets it must be possible?

Is it possible to activate either the AUX socket on the back of the unit or the glove box sockets so this option can...

The first thing is to check that you have enabled the AUX option in the setup menu. I had to do this on my NG4 Navidrve 3D system first before it would be shown as an option in the Media Menu. I have a 2007 Citroen C8 with an RT4 Navidrive system running software version 7.10.

The maps were outdated (2008/2009) so today I tried updating the maps with a CD of 2013/2014 maps.

Mike - I'm sure if you forced a clean boot from CD 8.31 it would set everything back. It's absolutely critical that you get your firmware updated before a map update that requires it. I cannot understand why you didn't get the 8.31 firmware upgrade with the maps if you bought these - they are usually supplied. I can vouch for this on the NG4...

So, I've now got the latest RT4/5 DVD to update my sat nag. What I don't have are the instructions on how to carry out this operation.
Do I just stuff the disc in and hope for the best :shock: or is there a set procedure that I need to follow?

The only unit that's declared as Navidrive 3D should be the NG4 (that huge double din one, with a big round dial in the middle) ... what you have is just Navidrive (not 3D)

Hi new to the forum. I was driving along the other day listing to music then I noticed the sat navigation screen flickered and just went blank. I pulled over and flicked through the modes and the screen changes through the different modes as you can see different colour lights appearing but no display.
