This has caused some problems for organisations like ours and the Team are currently looking at the best way forward. This...

A Reminder to Rail Fans.

by Six-cylinder » 22 Sep 2013, 11:39

Claire is holding a 60th birthday party for a diesel shunter at the Chinnor and Princess Risborough Railway. For those who missed her successful CX/XM/Xantia visit to the railway here is another opportunity for a Rail day out.

I hope she would holds a party lasting 3 weekend for my 60th!

I know what you mean Mark. I've never had an Alfa but the desire to own a 166 (or any Alfa with that heavenly V6) is always very strong...

It's the most musical and harmonious engine I've ever listened to. And it looks good too... 8-)

Citroen track day

by myglaren » 18 Sep 2012, 06:34

First post

A friend at work (the one with the nutty Saxo) seems to think that there is a French car meeting at a race track somewhere in the south, with opportunities to drive on the track.

Anyone have any suggestions?

offer different venues throughout the country

prices vary and the standard exhaust cars seem to pay more than the modified exhausts

Could be fun with up to 10 cars on track and 8 x 15 minute sessions for example @ Snetterton/Croft £79 - Croft / Mallory £169 - Donnington most expensive @ £200

Ok,

Who wants to attend or just meetup? Its dead easy to get to near Manchester Airport so a few mins from the M56/M60/A34 depending on where you are coming from, the sun should be good still as well looking at the weather and there will be plenty of tea on offer for those that require it so its like a mini meet :)

There is LOADS of parking...

They're a couple of miles from me. The son in law bought a car from them (Vauxhall Corsa!) and they were all really nice people. The Corsa had a few scuffs when we went to view it but was spotless on pickup. Unlike my Berlingo bought from a different Citroen franchise who promised all sorts and delivered nothing. They even overcharged me £350 and...
