Citroen track day

Unread post by myglaren »

A friend at work (the one with the nutty Saxo) seems to think that there is a French car meeting at a race track somewhere in the south, with opportunities to drive on the track.

Anyone have any suggestions?

you have 2 shows that i know about, one is Trax (held at silverstone in early sept) and the other is French Car Show, both give track time but i can't for the life of me remember the FCS details. Both though are erm, not a typical FCF scene and a CCC member would collapse there

I think the discriptive term used for the FCS would be 'Bitches, Base and bad as whips' so its not really your average fcf members thing really, no

XM Prestige PRV6 92
Talbot Express Autotrail Chinook 89
Mitsubishi L200 Trojan 14
Xantia Activa 95, sold (missed)

Service Citroen is awesome, it shows me pictures of all the parts i used to be able to buy............

I always thought the M6 Toll was a track...

Anyway, no, the FCS wouldn't really be an FCF members ideal day out. However, there are plenty of other track days that would allow us to take our motors on the track. Not particularly expensive, great fun and safe enough. We could organise to go along together to one if any of you lot fancy it....

offer different venues throughout the country

prices vary and the standard exhaust cars seem to pay more than the modified exhausts

Could be fun with up to 10 cars on track and 8 x 15 minute sessions for example @ Snetterton/Croft £79 - Croft / Mallory £169 - Donnington most expensive @ £200
