Hello, and a question :)

Post by Stuje »

Evening folks, just found these forums during a random browse of the net.
I am thinking about selling my car (saxo VTR) now that I am at uni... need the money more than the convenience of having a car at the moment!
If you guys could give me a price check based on these details that would be great.
- 99VTR, green, 40700 miles.
- MOT til may '05
- Tax til dec '04
- Full service done 2000 miles ago
- delocked
- cat1 toad alarm, with additional window winders
- supersprint centre section (no silencer)
- green enclosed induction kit (original air filter included)
Thanks in advance.
Stu.

Stu
Why not go to the Autotrader site and do a search on similar cars and see what they're going for.........then come back and sell it on here, of course!

www.parkers.co.uk will give you a general guide to the price of the basic car - place what ever value you will on it for the "mods" - advertising may be done free via this forum or (pay i think) in one of the specialist mags (Revs etc)
Nice to see new people taking an interest though. Might I suggest a Dyane 6 - cheaper to run than a Saxo with all the fun of four wheels.

Thanks for the swift responses.
I've had a look through all of the above links and £3200 seems to be the book price.
I'll stick it up for that in the for sale forum, cheers again.
