xantia fans

Hi all just bought a xantia diesel estate 98 and had to replace the radiator after 5 days can someone tell me the normal operating tempreture when the engine has been running a while and at what tempreture should the fans kick in.

Thermostat start's to open at 83c fully open at 99c.
Fan's ought to be thinking about it at around 90c
There may be an added complication if the car has aircon, if so check the brown conector on the stat housing for corrosion.
