LHM Overfill
Hi, my 95 Xantia TD SX was a bit low on LHM so I topped it up as instructed by Haynes. Now when I check the fluid level out with the car on maximum height setting there appears to be too much fluid. Is this going to damage the system or will I be okay? It's about two weeks since I added fluid in which time I've probably done about 1000 miles.

The worst that will happen is that the fluid will spill over the top of the reservoir and make a puddle under the car.
Personally I have always checked the fluid level on my Citroens by putting the suspension on the minimum height setting, then filling the reservoir til its almost brimming full & completely ignoring the level indicator altogether! With practice you can judge how much to put in without it ever spilling over.
