93 Savanna 1900 diesel tacho u/s

Hi
Anyone out there know whether it's usually the rev counter or the sender which packs up, and if it's the sender whereabouts on the engine might one find it?

Ont the Diesels the rev info comes from the Alternator if I remember correctly so check the wiring from there to the dash first.

Yes indeed, I discovered that yesterday when my belt slipped momentarily. The wire has probably fallen off the "W" terminal.
