605 oil leak / fuel supply

does the 605 2.1TD have a typical oil leak from the back of the engine ? I seem to have oil all round the inlet manifold, which I am guessing is the rocker cover gasket ? any ides / suggestions or volenteers that wanna have a look ? also if you look at the engine on the right hand side of the head there is a bit (technical term I know) with 2 pipes sticking out, on my "spares" 605 this had a fuel line going in to it them going out to the fuel pump, is this some sort of heater for the diesel ? shold I reconnect it ? does it have faults ? many thanks for all your help out there
