peugeot 406 radio (Clarion)

Post by pompelge »

Hi all.
Can anyone tell me what radio keys are used to remove the radio on a peugeot 406 hdi as I need to fit a hands free kit. Also will I lose the code when I pull the radio out? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Don't know about the keys, but you should only loose the code if you disconnect the power leads.

Cut a welding rod of 2mm or 2,5mm dia. in half, put each one in a hole until resistance is felt and pull it out gently, if necessary, use the cassette/Cd entrance to get your finger on. I removed my radio, but i think i didn't disconnect it, so... Do you have a Pass card?

Or use a couple of small electrical screwdrivers. You may not even loose thencode if you unplug the radio - I didn't - I think it's actually programmed into the cars CPU
