Xantia slipping out of 5th

It only slips out of 5th when the revs are dropping and the car is going round a corner.
There is a fair bit of movement on the engine mounts (quite a lot)
Could the engine mounts cause this or is it knackered selector forks?
Any other suggestions.

Start with the mounts. I am not aware of this being a Xantia fault so hopefully the problem is not gearbox related. R.

I'd look at the gear lever to box linkages for stiff joints.
Jumping out of gear on the overrun can be a sign of a worn box, but not from flexing of the engine/box mountings, that can't influence the gearbox internals to do things like jump out of gear, except via problematic linkages.
