Xantia ride height

Hi,what damage can be caused by driving a Xantia at its highest setting?? I say this as one time when it was in garage the mechanics father delivered the car back to me and was bouncing everywhere,due to the fact he had it in the highest ride position and drove for several miles like that!!!!!!!!

It's not like the car will immediately be damaged by this, but the suspension components in general may be overstressed when driving the car for long in highest setting.
I'd say the car must have been a nuisance - and rather dangerous - to drive, as it gets rock solid like a truck.
