About once in every 30 or so gear changes, I go to press the clutch peddle down and I can't. I have to lift off and try again.
Everything else seems OK - no gear crunching, no juddering, no nothing.

I'd guess that you've got an obstruction somewhere, either in the pedal set or the clutch lever arm assembly.

Is it like there's no clutch pressure? if so I get the same on my 1.6 every now and then. Never worried as it still goes in to gear and drives great.
