94' 306 Headlight Replacement?

Hello,
My MOT is coming up and I have a fairly large crack in my 306 XTDT's headlamp lens.
Is it possible to just change the lens or does the whole unit have to be replaced?
Also if I do this myself how do I check alignment afterwards?

I am fairly sure you can change the lens separately, check on this site if you can buy the lenses separately.

Yes, you can buy lenses separately.
Most MOT garages can adjust the lenses on the spot for nothing, some charge a few quid.
