306 head unit

i was wondering if anyone had any advice, im fitting my sony head unit into my 306, i managed to get out the 306 head unit, but my head new head unit tray wont lock into the 306, do i need to buy anything else, i already got the thing to convert the slanty shap into a normal one. its a 1994.

That should be all you need. The stereo's metal tray slides through the plastic trim (converting slanty to flat) and the metal tabs fold out with the aid of a screwdriver to hold both in place. Then the stereo slides in.
