Hi,
My 1999 406 with an EW10J4 engine seems to be shaking/ rattling a wee bit more than usual...its at 40,000km now
just changed the oil but didn't change the plugs as it seems to be still okay according to my mech...
My question is - is it normal for the engine to vibrate and you can actually feel it by touching the engine bonnet or even with the driver's door open, placing your hand on it, the vibration is quite noticable....
The engine mounts looks okay.
I find that the XU10J4 406's engine vibrate lesser...
any comments are welcomed...
also, apart from the factory std Eyquem/Bosch/Sagem plugs, is there a performance version of the plugs?
Thank you

Guys,
changed the oil, plugs and also ran a diagnostics on it at the dealer's place, everything is ok but the idle vibration is still there...
According to the mechs, they say its normal for the EW10J4 to have idle vibration...but this is too much I can even feel it on my seats when idling.
The mountings and bushes are fine.
Would the injectors, fuel filter and any other parts make a difference????
confused..
