Removed thermostat housing and was baffled by this connector for the temperature sensor and the lack of bleed screw.
The replacement I have has both sensor and heater linked into a connector. Any ideas ? Thanks

Removed thermostat housing and was baffled by this connector for the temperature sensor and the lack of bleed screw. Is this OEM? How do I disconnect it?

On our 2010 C3 there was a Citroen modification around 2014 that removed the bleed screw and fit another temp sensor as the original ones were faulty causing the fan to run continually. Also a bit of extra wiring was used and the old sensor left in place but not connected. It was a quick cheap fix for Citroen. Possibly this has been applied to your car.

I think that you maybe have the wrong replacement, there were many variations, especially if you add in the ones for the mini/BMW applications.
