Hello, I have Peugeot 508 with 1.6 BlueHDI 120hp, DV6FC BHZ. I know another two Peugeot 308 with exactly the same engine and the same problem. Engine pulsates at idle, with RPM fluctuating between 800–850. The in-tank pump pulses in sync. Replacing it made no difference. No power loss, runs and drives fine. I have tried to replace high pressure fuel pump regulator, but to used one, so can't be sure if the problem is not that. I have also replaced fuel filter, one bad injector. Injectors are coded and programmed, no fault codes. Tried to disconnect MAF sensor, still the same. Something that could be useful in live data, with engine hot at idle:
Low fuel pressure: 5.0–5.2 bar
Rail pressure requested/actual: 250–300 / 250–300 bar
Injection quantity: rapidly fluctuates 2–6.5 mg/stroke
Torque: 23–40 Nm
EGR commanded and actual stays at 0%.
Maybe someone had this problem and know the fix of that? I can imagine it should be quite often problem with these engines, because I know already 3 cars like that. Thank you!
