Peugeot 308 2018 no start, BSI problem?

Unread post by Vikis »

Hello, I have a Peugeot 308 2018 diesel 1.6 Blue HDI 120hp DV6FC with AM6 automatic gearbox. It all started after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, or at least that's what the client says. I'm not sure if that's true.

So, the problem is, the car cranks, but won't start. There are a lot of errors, and the message "immo active" appears on the dash. Which would be okay, if that were the case. But, However, my COM2008 is not working. There's no light switch, no wipers, no horn, and the radio display isn't working either. The remote key isn't working, and the airbag, AC, and COM2008 are not communicating via OBD. I have 12V at the 6-pin black connector and some power and ground at the 4-pin grey connector. I thought maybe the COM2008 was dead. I had a used one, similar, except one number was different and it didn't have a 6-pin connector. It was from the same year and car. I installed the other one, and it had the same issue. So, I'm not sure if I should try another identical one or if my problem is elsewhere. I have power at the connectors, which would indicate a problem with the COM unit.

I can't find a wiring diagram or fuse box diagram for this car anywhere, but I checked all the fuses, and they seem fine. I searched for diagrams of other similar PSA cars. I found one from a DS5, and in it, I saw that the R2 relay in the BSI controls the instrument panel, lane departure ECU, air conditioning ECU, camera, screen, and airbag ECU. This aligns exactly with my problem. Everything listed is not working, and I have fault codes from all these ECUs in the BSI. But why do I have 12 volts and 3-4 volts in other pins if the relay isn't working? Maybe someone has had this problem and can help me? Thank you.
Fault codes in BSI:
U1F43 no communication with airbag ecu
U1F42 no communication with AC ecu
U1F51 no communication with camera
U1F28 no communication with steering wheel switch module
U1F14 no communication on the body CAN.

It may help if you confirm which engine/transmission combination is fitted. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

The first thing to try is a BSI reset.

I did try that several times, thanks, but unfortunately, no luck. It won't react to sidelights switching while performing a BSI reset
