Espace heater speeds

(Rotary heater controls)
A friend has this car but it is running out of heater speeds. As Muggins 'ere will probably end up trying to fix it, what am i letting myself in for to find the resistor block? Thanks all!

Had mine done.
Not a nice job.

Take out heater box above engine. To do this remove breather pipes from rear of engine. Four really awkward nuts to remove holding unit to firewall then split box and replace resistor.

I wont do it again !
