Very new here so bear with me!
I’ve had my DS3 Crossback for about a year. Only one other time has engine fault appeared intermittently when the wet belt was on its way out. Got the replaced coming up to year ago now.
I was driving and suddenly the car went into limp mode and the check engine light came on. Pulled over waited 2 mins turned it back on and was fine for about 5 mins and did it again. No other warning lights came up. I guessing the car is unusable so had it recovered to garage.
Garage rang and said can’t read the manufacturing codes and basically said they can’t help me and needs to go to a main dealer. Can’t fit me in for a month for diagnostics. I’m at a bit of a loss, anyone had a similar Experience or know how to avoid the extortionate fees of the main dealer?
