brakes - vibration

1993 xantia.
changed teh accumulator as this was completely shot. It doesnt click now, but i still get a kind of wheezing noise from it for the first minute or so after stating the engine. then once every 30 seconds or so. no other xantias i have heard make this noise. whats this all about?
is it related to the slight vibration i get through the brake pedal when i apply the brakes?
I notice that its was reduced wheni changed the acculator, hence why i askthis question. problem with the pressure regulator perhaps?

Is it a wheezing noise or is it more of a quacking noise?
The older of my two Xantias, after I changed the accumulator sphere seemed to make a quacking noise instead of the sharp metalic tick that it made before.
